Lost Light is a 3D action and role-playing game where players can join the Firefly Squadron, one humanity's last strongholds in the Exclusion Zone. Your goal, above all else, is to survive in this hostile environment. To do so, you can venture alone or cooperate with other players, forming all kinds of alliances.
Although at first glance, Lost Light might seem like another third-person shooter, the truth is that it is a much more complex game. To begin with, the scenarios are huge, and you can explore them with total freedom, both on foot or in different vehicles. What's more, one of the most important parts of the game is the shelter. With the resources you get while you play, you can build and improve your own operations base, where you can rest and store all your treasures.
Another aspect that differentiates Lost Light from other similar games is the interaction with the other players. You can attack anyone you see, of course. But you can also join forces with them. You can even save another injured player's life, create a temporary alliance, complete a particularly difficult goal and then say goodbye. Friends and enemies are a fluid concept in the Exclusion Zone.
Lost Light is another promising release from Netease, reminiscent in some ways of the great Disorder, but with new mechanics and an even more ambitious goal. Like with all multiplayer games, only time and a constant player community can determine its success. That said, all the Lost Light games have the ingredients to be successful.
